Lucifer rolled his eyes so hard he almost got a headache. His anger had been short-lived, already burnt out. Now he was just done.
“Then I guess you’ll have to get used to the King of Hell looking like shit, Adam. Because like it or not, we’re both stuck here now.”
Adam looked at him a bit longer.
“Nah,” he said evenly, shifting to get up. Lucifer scoffed.
“What, are you gonna preen me now? You said it yourself, only you and Vaggie can even tell the difference.”
Lucifer felt his balance shift as Adam sat heavily behind him.
