In one universe, Dream of the Endless invokes hope in Hell during a contest with Lucifer.
In this one, Lucifer sends Dream careening into Despair’s realm.
In the first universe, Dream brings Matthew with him to Hell.
In the second, he doesn’t.
It changes more than one might think.
Or:
(Dream had always been the most fragile of his siblings after Delight, though only he and Destiny had realized this.)
(Despair endures, Desires change but thrive. Death and Destiny and Destruction are constants.)
