What if Izuku was in fact born with a quirk, but it was a mind controlling quirk, so he was shunned by Katsuki anyway? What if when Shinsou applied to switch to the hero course, Izuku came with him?
This is me taking Inumaki's cursed voice technique (Jujutsu Kaisen) and making it Izuku's quirk. Because it sounds cool, and I can.
Also Bakugou isn’t deaf but he’s becoming more hard of hearing, and Izuku doesn't speak in rice ball fillings (because that's kinda weird) so instead he doesn't speak at all. -

Summary
Merlin instinctually uses his magic to save Arthur's life, and Arthur takes it as well as you'd expect. Arthur doesn't know how to talk about what he feels, so Merlin makes him. Nicely.
Ambiguous timeline, based at some point after Uther's death and then non canon-compliant afterwards.
This trope is written about all the time, so here's my take on how I'd want it to happen.

Summary
Waking up with a headache was nothing new to Robert, but he hasn’t grown up to be a fan of it yet. Stretching in his plastic chair and pressing his knuckles against the area between his eyebrows eases the pain, soothing it from a sharp one to a dull, more in the background one, giving Robert a chance to stand up and feel the blood flow try it best to keep him from swaying.
The bathroom lights blind Robert for a brief second when he turns them on, regretting his choice to do so when he is greeted by his reflection in the mirror.
If Robert has issues that go above what he can, or wants to, work through by himself, will they take him down or will someone finally snap him out of it?

The man was in a suit that almost reminded Robert of something from Cirque du Soleil, all skin-tight, shimmering fabric with bursts of red and orange and a V-neck that showed a lot more than neck. The wrap-around sunglasses didn’t even look that ridiculous.
Infuriatingly, he managed to be beautiful, like a Monet in an Ikea frame is beautiful. He had changed very little in the years since Robert first encountered him, at least physically. Robert couldn’t say the same.
