Summary
Jason was a lot of things. He was an outlaw, a former Robin, a victim, a hero, a problem, but more importantly, he was a dumbass.
Capital D, capital U, capital M… you get the point.
Sometimes, he could forget how much of a dumbass he was. Sometimes, he got lucky and passed the luck off as skill and forward thinking. Other times, he was forced to face the cold hard truth that his brain had been jostled one too many times in his youth. Like now.
—
Jason's working a case that deals with the worse of humanity. No leads, no one willing to speak, and a push to do things Bruce's way is making it hard to make any progress. Luckily, someone took mercy on him and left a file in his apartment with detailed information. Unfortunately, the person who left the file comes back weeks later to bleed on his floor. If the blood loss doesn't kill Tim Drake, Jason's going to.

Summary
“Dude! No way!” Nicky gasps. The others erupt in various protests, shouting disbelieving questions and talking all over each other. The sudden noise even prompts Wymack to shout out a quick “hey!” over his shoulder. Aaron feels the pressure building behind his eyelids and for one horrible moment he thinks he’s actually going to cry.
“Shut up!” He shouts, his voice betraying him in the middle. God, he doesn’t want to cry. Not in front of the entire team. He doesn’t even understand why they make it sound like such a big deal. He and Katelyn have only actually dated for the better part of a year. It’s not like they are in a hurry. He looks at the freshmen, desperately searching for an understanding look. He cannot be the only one who hasn’t... Can he?
-
Or: it’s the end of Aaron’s third year, and everything is going just fine. Until it isn’t. Things start piling up and he struggles to find his way back home in the middle of the storm.

Summary
He squared his shoulders and opened the door and…. There was a kid. A small awfully familiar kid with black hair and acid green eyes. Tim’s latest stab wound throbbed a little in pain at the recognition of its creator. Tim knew logically that this isn’t his Damien, the kid in front of him is too young, too small and too meek to be the Damian of his universe, but that doesn’t stop the apprehension from setting in at the sigh of him. Tim had learned along time ago never to underestimate Damian, no matter how small he looks.
Tim looked around at what he had thought would be a guest suite, but in this world is more likely a cell. There’s a thin mattress on the floor and a lousy piece of fabric that probably should make it up for a blanket. The only other thing in the room was a basket in the conner for waste. It was cold and bare and completely inhumane and in the middle of it sits Damian.
This Damian looks to be around 7 or 8 years old, but it is a little hard to tell with the purple and blue bruise that fill half his face. His left eye is swollen shut, but the right one tries to make up for this by being so wide it almost looks like it’s going to pop out.

Summary
The moment the young woman in front of him screams, “Don’t touch me!” Aaron’s yanked back into the past.
He’s gripping an exy racket, knuckles white, heart hammering, and there’s Andrew—motionless on the bed—every second stretching out like a trap he can’t escape.
(Or: Aaron is a doctor. He has learned how to survive without Andrew—until a patient reminds him why he never really did.)
