Her hands — free from her wraps, calloused but softened by the months living under the Kiramman's roof; has she made a mistake in letting herself live easy after everything that has happened? — grasp at that old wound, scar, bruise (it hits the same spot every time; why does it hit the same spot every time?).

Jisung has to laugh. “I know most of Hyunjin’s side,” he says.
“Well obviously I’m a friend of Seungmin’s.”
Jisung pauses to stare, eyes narrowing with curiosity. “Yeah,” he plays along. “But you’re new.”
Minho chuckles. “You keep saying that. What does that mean?”
“I mean that you’re new. Here. Today. New. I’ve experienced this wedding over thirty times now and—” his breath hitches because he really just said that out loud, but there’s an immediate flicker in Minho’s eyes that has him exhaling with relief.
“Oh. Well.”

For a while, they say nothing. Seungmin can’t pinpoint what he's feeling. He looks over at Minho at some point, and he isn't looking back, so Seungmin takes a moment to study him.
Somehow, he's still the same. His eyes still have that feline look to them, the slope of his nose is still sharp and defined, his hair is still a rich dark brown that frames his face in soft waves.
He's different though, too.
His baby fat is fully gone. He looks more toned, carrying a more mature presence; like a real, experienced adult. That's what he is—an adult. Twenty-nine.
(or; Even after ten years apart, Seungmin can't help but find himself inexplicably drawn to Lee Minho.)
