“Rich got engaged?! I’m so happy for him!” Christine smiles at the phone, moving closer and attempting to zoom in on the picture. “They look so cute together!”
“Right?! He told me he was going to propose. I’m so proud of him!” Jake exclaims happily. He had mentioned earlier that the two were still close, almost the same level as Jeremy and Michael’s friendship. He assumes they catch up frequently. “My boy’s a star, and he’s getting married!”
Because of Christine trying to get a better look at the post, the phone screen shifted to be mostly facing her and Jeremy. Michael settled back in his seat, not bothering to make an effort to contort his body into weird positions, all to see a picture of something he’d rather forget existed. He doesn’t feel that hungry anymore.
He tries not to let it show.
OR;
Michael finds out that Rich got engaged. Why does this discovery hurt so much?

Summary
Joel was one of the high-ranking spies in an organization he's found himself working at. For the amount of time that had passed since he joined, he found himself quite proud of the position he found himself in. He enjoyed the life he had, he would think.
But that was all until he was thrown into a mission by the handler, where his entire life changed. Which was... fine. He just needed to figure out whether this change was good or not.
OR,
Joel and Etho have to play pretend and get married for a mission, and we get to see the life that they live together during it.

“What do you mean?” He can barely say the words.

Summary
Michael regularly sneaks into Jake's parties in what could loosely be called a disguise. He sees another side to Rich and isn't going to let it go without a fight, accidentally bypassing the entire plot of the musical in the process.
I'm not exactly sure how to sum up everything else, but it sure was fun to write!
