After weeks of sneaking around, stolen kisses, and fights that always ended in tangled robes and breathless silence, Harry finally reached his limit, desperate for something more than shadows and denials.
By the Black Lake, Harry confronted Draco.
“I’m tired of pretending,” Harry said, voice low but fierce. “I’m tired of being your secret. You kiss me like you want me, then push me away like I’m poison. Which is it, Malfoy? Do you actually want this—or am I just some mistake you regret every night?”
Draco stood frozen, pale hair glowing in the moonlight, grey eyes stormy. His mask wavered, then cracked entirely as he stepped closer, chest heaving.
“Merlin,” he whispered, half-angry, half-pleading. “Do you ever stop talking?”
Harry blinked, startled, heart pounding in the silence that followed.
Draco’s lips curled into the faintest, desperate smirk as his voice broke with raw honesty—
“Just shut up and kiss me, Potter.”
