In a place where such horror doesn't exist, they meet. Anaxagoras recalls the memory of the distant past, how they fought, how they made a truce, how he left, and the ending of a story that never even started. Be it back then or now, Aglaea remains the same as he remembers her; stoic, boring, uptight, but her eyes carry the light that her old one doesn't have. Somehow, it makes him stir.
If this is the chance given by the universe, he wonders if he can start over something that he should have done back then. If she also wishes for the same thing, that is.

Kaveh felt a hand grip his neck strongly, pull him away. Teal eyes glared at wounded red.
