    Summary

Albus Dumbledore in the summer of 1995, searching desperately for a Defence professor: Why don’t I write my good friend Sarutobi Hiruzen, a fellow member in good standing of the Useless, Yet Purportedly Wise, Fictional Mentors Club, to see if he has a candidate in mind?

Sarutobi Hiruzen: I know the perfect person for this. She’s an S-ranked former ANBU and she just graduated a genin team to chūnin, so she’s got teaching experience!

    Albus Dumbledore: …This is a fifteen-year-old.

Hyūga Hinata, fresh off taking down Orochimaru at the Chūnin Exams: Wow, if I had a nickel for every snake-themed, immortality-obsessed whackjob I’ve ever had to kill, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

I’ve set Hinataverse!Hinata loose on the wizarding world, where she immediately does her damnedest to set a new record for the Voldemort defeat any% speedrun. Casualties are… considerable.

    Summary

Don and Kathy would move in together. They would have a dog or two and then inevitably, a small parade of adorable little brats who would call him Uncle Cosmo, and they would spend less and less time with him, not on purpose but busy with the rest of their lives, and ultimately Cosmo would learn to make his peace with it because he’d have no other choice and he would have to try to move on and not live too much in his memories. He could picture it so clearly, he figured if the songwriting gig with Monumental didn’t pan out, he could always return to the backwater circuit with a new act: The Amazing Cosmo of the Cosmos—ladies and gentlemen, he sees the future, he reads the stars, he silently pines for his best married pal and all the while tap dancing!

Don and Kathy inviting him along on their honeymoon, though—that part was a surprise.

    Summary

In a way, it was almost a relief to see that nothing had changed since school. Seasons came and went but Grantaire was still Grantaire: a bundle of too-tight nerves and awkward elbows, scratchy throat, furtive gaze bouncing everywhere it shouldn’t. Still nursing a fascination with the most dangerous-looking female in the area. A puppy dog panting after a wolf.

In 1957, female cartoonist Grantaire meets some interesting new people, joins a secret society, and attracts the notice of a woman named Enjolras. A 1950’s lesbian Amis AU.

    Summary

Grantaire is supposed to be a man of the world, but he's shocked, and he handles it badly. “I beg your pardon?” he asks, and then, a heartbeat later, “I never proposed any such thing!”

Enjolras goes red and then white in quick succession. “I apologise,” he says. Even his full mouth has blanched, thinning down to a disciplined, painful-looking line. “I must have misunderstood.”

“I take no offense,” Grantaire says hurriedly, which is at least somewhat better, “indeed, I am flattered –”

    -

Enjolras decides to take Grantaire up on his longtime offer. Only, Grantaire, as Hugo puts it, has long admired Enjolras' "chaste, healthy, firm, upright, hard, candid nature[...] without being clearly aware of it, and without the idea of explaining it to himself having occurred to him."
