    "Nancy had started making a comprehensive and not even close to exhaustive mental list of all the many, many unexpected things she was learning about Robin Buckley as they became real friends. 

    At first, she hadn’t even realised she was doing it. But then there was just so many little things that made her blink and let out a soft, incredulous laugh because for some reason, Robin kept going on about how Nancy was full of surprises when Robin was turning out to be the most interesting person Nancy had ever met. 

    And so the list kept growing."

    as life goes back to normal, nancy finds herself really, really intrigued by robin. (yes, it's a bisexual crisis but she doesn't know that yet so it's explored in the name of journalistic intrigue. for now.)
