Katsuki feels his soul leave his body. He whips around and nearly smacks Denki in the shoulder with his phone. “None of your damn business, dunce-face!!”
He wants to explode the amused grin off the idiot’s face that only grows with Katsuki’s outburst. “Whoa!!! Relax, man! I'm seriously asking. I've never seen you look so… genuinely happy before.”
“The hell are you even talking about?!”
“Is it--” Denki’s theatrical ass gasps and covers his mouth. “Ohh, DUDE. Do you have a crush on someone??”
(Or, Katsuki and his friends go on a pre-Christmas outing together, and all he can do is make googly eyes at Izuku.)

Izuku watches as Kacchan’s eyebrows furrow in the rear-view mirror, glancing at him in confusion, “What?”
“If I’m gonna join your– any agency, I’m gonna have to earn it. And besides– Kota-kun would be a better fit as of right now I think. I see how hard he tries to beat you every time you lead a training exercise and I know you do too.”
“Are you a fucking idiot?” Kacchan pulls over right by a convenience store and whips his head around to look at Izuku, “Are you seriously fucking stupid?”

He’s balancing on the ledges of the flooded sandbox with his arms out, trying not to fall when a familiar looking red, blue and yellow ball bounces over the ledge and lands in the water with a splash. It bobs on the surface of the water, floating around before finally settling in the middle.
“Oh no!”A whiny voice exclaims, sounds of gravel crunching beneath little light up All-Might themed velcro sneakers getting louder and louder, “My ball…”
Katsuki points at the ball, “That’s yours?”
The kid— he has dark green curly hair, sparkling eyes and cool little dots scattered across his face, concentrated on the bridge of his nose and his cheeks. Katsuki doesn’t know what they’re called and it pisses him off.
