Albedo hums. Kaeya catches the sliver of a smile partly hidden under the hand clasped over his lips in thought, teal eyes blinking up. His heart skips a beat. “It surely isn’t a no.”

Albedo places down a test tube and crosses his arms. “I thought you’d be flattered.”
(Or: Albedo draws Kaeya, again and again, but the three stupid strokes of a pencil are not what the Cavalry Captain wants to see.)
