Summary
He gapes as they separate, and before he can stop himself, he blurts out, “Did– did you just–”
They turn to him, the paladin scrunching his brow in annoyance, and the words die on his tongue. Maybe it’s his head, maybe he really is going insane, but Mike knows what he just saw, and suddenly a couple other moments click into place in his brain– a place only for us, sleep alone tonight, we would not be wed were I truly a prince–
“Wait, are you guys dating?”
Will blinks at him, the same bemused expression from before on his face. Michael looks a little taken aback, as though this wasn’t what he was expecting, but for the first time all day, a hint of a smile flickers over his lips. “‘Dating’?” He echoes, almost challenging. “No, we are far past courtship. William and I were wed months ago.”
Somehow, out of all of the ridiculous, incredible, out-of-this-world things Mike has seen in the past couple hours, this one is by far the hardest for him to believe.
Out of all the insane things that have happened to Mike Wheeler, waking up in a parallel universe face-to-face with his own DND character just might take the cake.

Summary
Mike goes to visit Will in California and realizes a lot of things about himself when he sees Will in a pizza uniform, sweaty and...greasy? He's then later forced into closed corners with him due to some incorrect assumptions from the rest of their friends, causing some awkward truths to be told after some stupid misunderstandings.

Summary
“Looks like I bit you.” Will tilts his head to get a better look. All Mike can do is stare at him. His fluffy hair at the front, clumped pieces at the back where he’d slid his fingers in a mere few minutes before. His pretty green eyes that look hazel or even brown in this light, the dark circles he gets when he drinks framing them like intricate paintings. A satisfied, bloody smile.
Mike isn’t satisfied. He swallows thickly, choking down the words 'don’t you want more?'
Or: Will dresses as a vampire for a college halloween party, but Mike thinks his costume isn’t bloody enough. Will lets him fix it. Mike goes into a crisis.

“It was like when I watched them pull your body out of the quarry. No matter how badly I needed you alive, both times—” He pauses before he speaks as light as air, “Tell me I won’t have to see that again. That you won’t go die on me and leave me here all by myself.”
Will sits up straight. “Hey, I’m here, okay? I’m alive. You don’t have to worry about me.”
“That’s not what I said.” Mike’s voice is heavy, swaying like a pendulum. “I said, tell me you’re not gonna leave me, that you won’t—”
“I’m not gonna leave you. Not if I have any say in it.”
It’s unquestionable.
It promises nothing other than his devotion.
