jayce and viktor are in a modern setting, both are creators and have loved the other one's content long before they knew each other personally. they meet on their first date and connect with each other. the relationship is new, sweet, evolving into something deeper. both characters feel true to the source material, even with all the changes mentioned.
they also both are trans men in this universe which im very happy about, as we get art from lucinfernos(this writer's tag name on tumblr) for this universe where jayce's and viktor's facial features are slightly different, prettier if you will. -
