Summary
Andrew feels like he’s watching them heal and progress from afar; a liminal vantage point, watching as they forge ahead into new lands, becoming specks on the horizon until he can no longer make out their figures.
Or: Andrew coming to terms with the fact that things change, people evolve, but he still has a role to play.

Summary
Ilya Rozanov does not come pre-installed with good communication or healthy coping skills. Is he going to seek out help on his own? Hell no! But when a family member kills himself, fellow Boston Raider and friend Cliff Marleau decides that Ilya is going to therapy come hell or high water. And Ilya... well, Ilya is just playing along to keep the peace. Right? He doesn't need therapy. But if it helps his friend be less worried, so be it.
OR: What if Ilya came into the tuna meltdown with slightly upgraded social skills and no one actually ran away before they had a conversation?

Ilya was good at noticing things about people, and he was good at understanding them. Shane was not. That was okay. Shane had developed his own way of getting to know Ilya. It involved a lot of inane questions and, more importantly, no longer involved condoms.

Summary
Shane Hollander is not a small fucking guy; he is all muscle, with big, calloused hockey-player hands and eyes nearly pretty enough to disguise the violence hidden in breadth of his shoulders.
Alexei is impressed.
Not a bad get, for someone fished out of a pool of hockey men who look like thumbs, their noses like squashed tomatoes and ears like boat sails. If it could not be beautiful, nosy bitch Svetlana, if it has to be a man, if it has to be a hockey player, then rich as God Shane Hollander isn’t the worst Ilyusha could have pulled.

or Alexei is in deep shit. He can’t get to Ilya, so he tries the next best thing.Bookmarked by rogue197

Summary
The doorbell rings just as Shane is finishing brushing his teeth – the first thing they rose to do, because he wants to kiss Ilya good morning – and he and Ilya exchange a confused look in the bathroom mirror. It's barely dawn, and Ilya's curls are adorably tousled from sleep as he scratches his ribs lazily, toothbrush dangling from the corner of his mouth.
Shane hesitates, then rinses his toothpaste out and runs a hand through his hair. "Fuck, it's probably anti-doping."
No one else would be here at this hour – unless it's an emergency.
