“I’m looking for someone,” Tommy said after eons of silence.
“Well, uh, are you any closer to finding them?”
“Not really, no. I’m looking for a place called Serenity. Think they might be there. Have you heard of it?”
"No, I'm sorry."
“I was going to ask if you wanted to join me. Serenity is ‘posed to be this, like, huge safe haven with a shitload of resources. If you come along I’m sure they’ll let you in.”
“Okay.”
And that was that. Nothing more to it. A strangely dull first meeting and the two agreed to face the world together, despite not knowing each other at all.
