Katsuki gives him a weird look. "If I'm not hallucinating you, then what the fuck is this?”
Izuku gives him an awkward laugh in response, "Haha, I took your advice. Turns out, you really can get a quirk in your next life! If this even constitutes as one…” He says, looking down at his shoes. He's wearing their middle school uniform, spotless and clean. But Katsuki knows that's what he wore the day he died. That in reality, his uniform is probably soaked in blood and gore, forever unsalvageable.

“Help me get the rest of the way out of this hole,” Shen Qingqiu says. He’s going to break into a cold sweat soon if Shang Qinghua doesn’t stop implying that he doesn’t know what happened either.or: Both Shang Qinghua and Shen Qingqiu die and wake up in their Sun and Moon Dew Mushroom bodies, without any clue as to who, what, when, where, why, or how this happened. Predictably, shenanigans ensue.

Summary
Shen Qingqiu wakes up from death like a man groggily emerging from deep sleep, not immediately remembering where he is or what has happened. He opens his eyes half expecting to see the Bamboo House’s ceiling, and is instead met with the tall, arching ceiling of a palace. He’s lying on his back on the floor, his hands neatly folded on his stomach, dressed simply as if for sleep. He pushes himself up enough to look around him, and sees that he’s in the middle of a very elaborate array drawn in blood.
Oh, this cannot be good.
“The resurrection ritual worked!” Shang Qinghua says, his voice high and tense. Shen Qingqiu’s disoriented gaze finds him standing outside the array, a wobbly, manic smile on his face. He shoots Shen Qingqiu a wordless sorry bro look, which immediately lets him know that whatever the situation is, this hack author has completely thrown him underneath the bus once again. “S-- see, Junshang? This lowly servant wasn’t lying!”
… Wait.

Experimentally, Mark stands up and, as expected, reels a little. The sensation makes him laugh. He sits back down and does it again, swaying enough that he has to grab onto the wall separating him and Dylan. "This is actually pretty fun," he reports as the bathroom door opens and shuts behind them.
"What's going on out here? Mark playing musical chairs by himself?" Petey's voice asks.
"Mark's outie came in wasted," Dylan informs him, still clicking away.
