Summary
Dirk would rather not share, but how can you lay claim to something that isn't even yours? Or, in his case, to someone he's sure he has no chances with.
John in the meantime is just confused by his own feelings, the nature of which might either fix or make things worse, but you'll never know which it is if you never try. -

Summary
"To him, Aprilis was a lifeline. When the pain from the orb was at its worst, Gale recalled his reaction when he confided in him about it, and the memory of pure compassion on April's face worked like a charm on its own."
Gale is tormented by the Orb, but he was fortunate enough to meet a cleric with bleeding heart on the road, and the endless kindness of his savior may or may not spark feelings other than gratitude in him.

Summary
Till takes in a shaky breath, and the physical absence of a familiar weight on his shoulders throbs like an open wound in the hollow space between his lungs.
It’s always been Ivan’s role, to chase after Till until he got too tired to run away, constantly orbiting around him, unbearably close. Till’s fingers feel numb all of a sudden, the screen of his phone darkens under his turbulent gaze—his legs tremble, just slightly. But he’s getting quite tired of running in circles.
Before the fear can get the better of him, Till taps on the keyboard and hits send.
‘hey, r u coming back home for the break?’
Every chase must eventually reach its end. The question is: what do you want its ending to be?

Summary
[ He looks a little bit nervous. Maybe he never got asked that question before. “I would like to taste the sweets you mentioned earlier.”
Now that’s something Till can help with. “Let’s go then.”
“Go where?”
“Rob some.” He answers, deadpan. ]
Or,
Till meets a certain black-haired weirdo again, dies and Ivan wonders if there is a universe he is loved, not necessarily in that order.

Summary
Till never uncovered the reason why he always felt coaxed or. . . something like that to give Ivan a straight answer upon the second, or even first, inquiry. It could’ve been because Ivan never laughed at him, but Till felt as if that wasn’t the reason. Sometimes, he found himself telling Ivan before he even asked. Sometimes, it wouldn’t be Ivan coming to Till, but Till sitting beside Ivan, alone. He’d plop down beside him, exhausted and worn, waiting a moment before letting the other boy remove the restraints against his mouth, and he’d take a deep, gasped breath. Ivan would never smile at him on those days. His eyes would carry something dark within them, as if he had been plotting some master plan. Or, just because he had been angry. As simple as that. It confused Till, because he always thought that Ivan was mad at him, but moments like these made Ivan seem like he was mad at Urak.
Till imagined they confused each other.

Summary
When Till opened his eyes, he was greeted by the sight of clear blue skies.
Light blue dusted by fluffy white clouds, the Sun shining brightly without a care in the world.
He felt the gentle breeze caress his skin and the firm ground laid beneath him. Blades of grass tickled his bare feet, while the scent of flowers filled the air.
He wasn’t quite sure what he was doing before this and a part of him didn’t really care. For the first time in a really long while, Till finally felt at peace.
In his peace he was finally allowed to contemplate, to realise what he’d long ignored.
In his peace, he’d finally appreciated what he had all along.
Alternatively: In wake of his death, Till finally realises the complexities and depth of his feelings.
