Sunghoon had been trying to get a hold of Jay since he landed in Milan, but the guy seemed to suddenly be allergic to texting back. So he had to get a little creative. He didn't know it would end up like THIS.

Jay did not have a problem. There was no problem. He was not stressed, or worried. Sunghoon was a grown man who had done solo schedules before. He would not bombard him with texts when he was getting to experience the thing he had dreamt about his whole childhood. In fact, Jay was going to spend less time on his phone, practically NO time on his phone. He would not text Sunghoon once because Jay did NOT have separation anxiety, thank you very much.
...but did he have to send THAT?

Jay is… well, Jay. That's what runs through Sunghoon’s head as he pushes his head against the door again. Jay is masculine, strong, and stubborn. He is confident, collected. Jay never seemed to get flustered, never seemed to flinch. Jay is the responsible one. He scolds the members, cooks for the members, and isn’t bothered when teased. Hell, Sunghoon and the rest even have an unspoken bet going on, trying to see who can get Jay to crack first. This is a fact. This is a fact solidified by years of experience with the aforementioned person. Sunghoon knows this.
So whom did the elated, high pitched, giggle that came from inside Jay’s room, belong to?

Summary
Listen. Jake really did like going out with Jay and Sunghoon. He was very happy that he debuted in a group with people who were all around his age, and that he had not one but two members who were his age. He was really very lucky to have two best friends in their group that really did feel like a family.
But he also knew that Sunghoon and Jay were… special to each other in a way that neither of them ever seemed to want to address ever in the five years he had known them.
Much to his dismay and frustration.
