Summary
Izuku somehow managed to look down on Shouto, despite being a good few inches shorter than him. He took stock of the room: Shouto’s state of not-quite-undress, the clothing scattered messily around. Then he sighed, hand still on the doorknob, a certain benevolent disappointment in the cast of his eyes.
“What happened, Shouto?”
“I—I didn’t mean—” Shouto tried to explain. “My shirt was—my hands—” He was so nervous, which was ridiculous, because Izuku was just... looking at him, that’s all. But oftentimes a look was all it took.
“Ah, so your hands were the problem here,” Izuku said with some soft understanding, deceptively casual. “I think we can fix that.” He fully entered the room, and Shouto could finally see what was dangling from his other hand.
Shouto’s discarded tie.
(Shouto is all wound up. Izuku knows exactly how to get him to settle.)

Summary
There was a weird tickle between his shoulder blades, like someone was staring directly at his back, and Izuku spun around, heart in his throat, eyes desperately scanning the trees. The dim moonlight that filtered down through the leaves wasn’t nearly enough; at first, all he saw were shadows, the fuzzy grey outlines of tree trunks and underbrush. He let out a breath, hand pressed to his racing heart. He was getting carried away. There was obviously nothing there—
Two red orbs blazed preternaturally in the dark, just beyond the treeline. For a moment, Izuku felt stuck in place. What the hell…?
They flickered out for a moment, then flared back to life. Eyes, Izuku’s frenzied mind supplied, spinning up to a fever pitch, blinking—
(Izuku gets chased and fucked by a werewolf. That's it. That's the fic.)

Summary
“Order for,” he squints at the slip again as he carefully sets the mug on the counter, “...Deku?” He looks up, scanning the people waiting, but no one steps forward.
“Order for Deku,” he says, louder this time. Nothing.
Katsuki slams the slip on the counter by the mug, rattling it slightly. “Whoever ordered the fucking pumpkin latte, come get your goddamn drink.” He glares at the losers loitering nearby, because he’ll be fucked if he made a perfect goddamn pumpkin for nobody.
Some green-haired, freckled bastard comes up and peers at the slip. He’s distressingly cute, which only adds to Katsuki’s annoyance at being kept waiting.
“Oh,” he chirps, “actually it’s pronounced ‘Izuku.’”
(Izuku and Bakugou are college students who meet at Bakugou's part-time job. Somehow Bakugou winds up collecting Izuku's poems... without his knowledge.)

Summary
It’s been a long day. By all rights, Izuku should be falling into bed, half dead. But instead of sleeping, he’s hunched over his laptop at 2 in the morning writing a dissertation about why exactly Ground Zero’s pecs are the best pecs to ever pec, and how dare anyone insinuate that he should lose some of that muscle because don’t you even understand what kind of physique a quirk like that requires? Amateurs.
(Izuku has two jobs in this world: pro-hero and anonymous president of the Ground Zero fan club. What could possibly go wrong?)

Summary
Izuku wakes abruptly to the smell of burning fabric. For a moment he’s dazed, disoriented. His eyes blearily focus on the clock on the nightstand. 3:27 AM. Something is… wrong. What is it?
He hears something behind him. A whimper.
Suddenly he’s wide awake, cold fear rushing down his spine. He turns quickly, the covers catching around his waist, to find Katsuki writhing in the bed next to him, eyes screwed shut, explosive hands fisted in the sheets. Izuku’s stomach feels like lead in his gut. Another nightmare. It’s been a while since he’s had one this bad.
(Katsuki has a panic attack. Izuku is there to take care of him.)

Summary
Akechi's had a good day, and Ren has had a bad one. He’s going to show up to their final meeting smiling and well-rested. He’s looking forward to it. This is going to be easy. It’s going to be fun.
The phone call comes just as he reaches Shibuya station. Akechi leans against the wall, shadowed by a pillar at the Ginza gate, as he takes it. “There’s been a change of plan,” says the man he loathes more than anyone else alive. “Stand by.”

Summary
In the ranks of hopeless cases, determining whether Phoenix Wright or Miles Edgeworth deserved the top spot was a fiercely contested debate (one described by outsiders as “kind of cute” and “just like an old married couple” and, when polite terms failed them, “gross”). Both could agree, however, on third place: for the only case nearly as hopeless as their love for each other was Phoenix’s self-proclaimed quest to find the perfect pet name for Miles.

Summary
“I think he can’t come today!”
Akechi startles. Embarrassing. Yoshizawa is hardly unobtrusive. The street lights of the January evening pick up the shocking red of her hair and the sparkle of her eyes. She moves like a dancer, as if every step might become a graceful leap. Strangers she passes smile to see her go. She’s full of sparkle this week; the wilting flower performance of the first half of January is all over, and she’s started tying her hair up again in what is probably—
Akechi doesn’t care about this. Why does he still notice these things? It doesn’t matter.
—probably a sincere tribute to her dead sister, rather than a tragic imitation.
Spend long enough playing the detective, and some sad and pointless part of you can’t stop pretending.
