“What?”
“Yes!” Joshua’s smile sharpened. “With someone handsome. Someone brave.”
-

Consumed by obsession, Clive’s love curdled into dark possession.
Under the cover of night, he began a chilling experiment: drugging Joshua’s sleep to sculpt his body into rejecting all touch but his own—a desperate, deranged bid to bind his brother to him forever.Unbeknownst to him, his brother’s body began developing a resistance to the drugs…

Summary
The Archduke bypassed the ornate prologues, the flowery diplomatic pleasantries, and launched into the heart of the matter. "To ensure the enduring strength of our alliance, the Emperor proposes a bond beyond treaties—a union of blood. On behalf of his son, the heir to the Sanbreque Empire, the future Emperor himself, he seeks the hand of the Archduke’s own heir—Clive Rosfield."
Joshua finally mustered the courage to escape his gilded castle prison—only to stumble straight into a chance encounter with Dion. Panicked and a terrible liar, Joshua did the first thing that came to mind: he blurted out his older brother Clive’s name. What a brilliant idea! No trace, no consequence… or so he thought.
Turns out that fleeting lie snowballed into a binding political marriage contract, and the Empire now expected “Clive” to honor it. Oops.
Trapped in a royal mess of his own making, Joshua faced an impossible dilemma. With everything on the line, could he finally confess his true feelings to Dion? Would their one chance at happiness be destroyed? And in the end, would love truly conquer all?

Summary
"Clive, you must understand, this isn't just for you," Asta's tone rising with earnest conviction. "It's for Jill. It's for everyone. The Hideaway needs this, you need this, before you leave for the Origin. To see a sweet love sanctified into marriage, to witness the vows…"
Once upon a lifetime ago, long before the weight of the world knew their names, the three of them played a wedding game. Joshua, not entirely grasping the significance of the bride, cried and insisted on taking on that role, for he understood at least that the bride was the most important to the groom, who was played by Clive.
Growing up, Joshua was certain that he had no right or position to object to his beloved brother marrying someone else before their departure, so that Clive wouldn't have any regrets.
The very vow he had treasured as a golden memory now mocked his silent despair—the heartbreaking certainty that his lifelong, hidden pining was destined to remain unrequited.
Or, was it?

Summary
"How could you lie to me?"
"I didn’t. I really am Dion Lesage."
"Except you have NOTHING to do with Sylvestre Lesage!"
"Technically, I work at one of his hotels..."Joshua Rosfield—a stunning gold digger—wasn’t hunting merely rich prey; he was stalking the apex predator, Sylvestre Lesage.
The wealthy widower hosted an exclusive gala for his luxury hotel opening. After the party, he predictably brought Joshua to his suite, but the tycoon was far drunker than Joshua realized; he clambered onto Joshua only to immediately pass out cold. Bored, Joshua wandered down to the hotel bar at 2 AM, mistaking the exhausted bartender Dion (asleep in his work uniform–dress shirt, vest, and bowtie) for another wealthy guest.
Their passionate night led to a shocking revelation—Dion shared the Lesage surname and resembled the rumored heir. Joshua, ever the opportunist, gleefully switches targets—only to discover he's fallen for a broke bartender working multiple jobs.
As a committed materialist, he repeatedly tried (and failed) to ditch the unfairly handsome bartender who’d accidentally ruined his plans. And yet, in the end, love won. -

Summary
“Why would I be nervous?” Joshua forced a smirk. “It’s not every day I get to watch you pretend to like me in HD lighting.”
Dion wrenched him closer. “You signed the contract. You’re mine until the ink fades.”
Joshua looked him in the eye, their noses nearly touching. “You don’t own me.”
Dion tightened his grip on Joshua’s wrist. “You understand the terms, Rosfield. Signing them made you property. Act like it.”

Summary
In the wake of Phoenix Gate, Clive fights to keep his brother's throne. For Joshua, it's a trial of loss he cannot keep from repeating. But he will find a way.
“I know,” Joshua repeats, as Clive’s fingers settle deeper in his hair, carding out the apology he can’t make. “I know you have to go. If we lose Rosalith, we lose—” Rosaria, he means to say, but Clive interrupts him.
“—I lose you. There isn’t a place I could send you on Storm safer than this city.” He smiles. “Allow me to do my duty, lord marquess.” The title sounds funny on his lips.
Joshua rises and sorts himself. “I can order you to stay.” He won’t, and he wouldn’t.
Clive’s smile tugs to one side. “You can try.”

Summary
In the aftermath of an Eikon battle between Ifrit and Phoenix, Joshua awakens under the rubble of Phoenix Gate bloody, broken, and without any memory of who he is or what he used to be. With the Phoenix defeated and his own memories lost, a blonde-haired woman with cold eyes deems his survival worthless and hands him over to the Dhalmekian Republic to do with as they please.
It's been 20 years since that fateful day, yet he still knows nothing about who he is. What does he know? He knows his name, though everyone addresses him as Firebird. His blood always runs hot, and he's never felt cold a day in his life. He is as pretty as he is intelligent, and he carries himself with grace which makes him one of the most desired Branded in all of Dhalmekia. He was so desired that he found himself in the service of Hugo Kupka and has kept the man's bed warm for the last 6 years.
He never dared to hope that maybe one day he would get the chance to leave the horrors of his life behind for something better because hope was a cruel thing for Bearers, something far-fetched and unattainable. Or that's what he'd always believed until Dion Lesage came into his life and changed everything he thought he knew.
