Summary
There was a flaw in the Sith’s plan, one they found before it could become troublesome. To leave a Jedi in charge of the war effort - a terrible idea. Why hail them as heroes? Instead, they added another step, one to ensnare the Jedi even further. The war effort would not be lead by the knights of the Jedi order, no, it would be led by clones. Moveable pawns who would be raised to see the Jedi as inhuman. What better way to ensure that the Jedi remain compliant, and the clones, uncaring?
Somewhere in the distance, the force slowly rose and plotted. Balance may be brought to the galaxy after all.

Summary
Niki’s life is going perfectly. When she manifests magic, that mean it can only get more perfect, right? She’s excited for the blossoming possibilities, burning with brilliant new passion. Niki drives off wary mutters with the glowing optimism that she can use her power for good. No one’s doubts can get to her (especially not her own).
But Techno has long been doused. Resistance only ever burns the people wielding it, and he’s tired of the scorch scars on his hands, on his friends. Tired of the endless betrayals. So he bites his tongue and indoctrinates his naive apprentice into the living weapons they’re meant to be.
Everything is going PERFECTLY and Niki is so HAPPY with being in the lively capital (being kept from her home), AMAZED with learning magic with Techno (learning how to hurt people), EAGER to learn how the world works (and the lies necessary to maintain it). But as Niki’s fuse grows shorter and shorter, something might just spark a revolution. -

The player in the doorway gaped at her, bruised and grimy and clearly young. “Who the actual fuck are you?”
Puffy folded into the bow that signaled friendly intent to pretty much every player she’d ever met, almost careening over from the change in position, and said as brightly as she could, “Captain Puffy! Sorry to intrude on you like this, I got shipwrecked, I think- I don’t know where I am. This is not a good day for me.”
“You’re in Logstedshire,” the boy said blankly, like she was supposed to know what that meant, and Puffy’s body took that moment to collapse from under her.
She counted herself lucky she didn’t brain herself on the door when she fainted.

Summary
Names were a very powerful thing with fae. Obviously, fae tried to trick humans into giving up their names, and thus themselves, but fae names worked differently. Fae were made up of magic, and magic was wild and unruly and couldn’t be contained in a name. But, it was still a piece of themselves, and fae guarded their names just as carefully as any wise human would, perhaps even more carefully. Exchanging true names was often a way of bonding a pair of fae together, an act of total trust and acceptance. It weaved their magic together, the universe unable to tell one fae apart from another.
And Phil could confidently say he trusted Techno with his entire life and being. He took a shuddery breath, instinctual panic rising up in him as his mind caught up to what he was about to do, but there was no going back. This was the only possible way.

Summary
Tommy had suffered on and off throughout his life from hanahaki, which sort of happens to someone who trusts too much and always gets their hopes crushed. He just wants someone to actually care about him, but he knows he's not going to get that, especially not with Dream and not with how the disease has been getting worse.
Dying and defeated, Tommy's only solace comes in the form of weird eldritch singing emanating from the forest outside his window. He knows that whatever it is will likely be a cannibalistic cryptid from his worst nightmares, but somehow he can't find it in himself to care. Any death will be better than suffocating alone.
Or
Tommy is on a quest to get killed by unknown monsters instead of the ones he does know. This is somehow more difficult than it should be.
