Byleth looked at the objects then back at her father. Her eyes glinted in the light, almost curious, as she gazed across the floor. For a moment, she just sat there and stared blankly.
Then, she slowly crawled forward.
It's a common tradition in many Asian cultures for parents to set a line of objects in front of their young children to see which one they will choose.
Or, one of the few times that Byleth ever made Jeralt cry.
