Summary
“Because I care about your well-being.” Diluc crosses his arms and stares at him as if Kaeya’s the one not making any sense.
What in Khaenriah’s name is going on here?
“Nothing too major.” Jean says kindly. “According to the traveller, the insect causes people to actively show affection towards the first person they touch. He, along with Paimon, are assisting Albedo, Sucrose and Timaeus in procuring the cure. Nonetheless, he has also stated that the effects will wear out within a week.”
“So, you’re saying that master Diluc will just show me affection for a week if the cure is not found? Or is there something else?”
At this, Jean side-eyes Diluc, as if waiting for him to speak. And speak he did.
“We need to be in close proximity. Otherwise, I would feel a sense of emptiness and might take drastic measures to fill it.” He says. “I can handle 7 metres at most, but even then I find it difficult to restrain myself.”
This seems to be quite the troublesome situation.

Summary
It was supposed to be a normal mission. Well, as normal as it can get when one is tasked with capturing a fellow Harbinger. While he had expected the traveller and Paimon to be in Sumeru (cos when are they not travelling), Childe had not expected Zhongli of all people to be with them, nor had he expected to transform into a fox whenever the Liyuen was present due to a mishap.

Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter loved many things. She loved singing. She loved flowers. She loved alchemy. But most of all, she loved the people of Mondstadt. She loved the sweet and innocent children, who ran around playing tag. She loved her fellow citizens, who chatted with her about their lives. She loved the soldiers, who trained hard to protect their city. She loved Rostam, who was the love of her life.
Everything was perfect for this maiden full of love… until she came back to see everything she held dear destroyed. Then, she became full of hatred.

Summary
The end is not romantic. Light doesn’t know why he’d thought it would be. Some residual hope, he supposes, that the disease would make an exception for him — that whatever they had was important enough to overcome L’s failing synapses, that there would be some sort of poetry to their final days.
L has Alzheimer’s; an 89 year old Light takes care of him.

L has successfully exposed Light as Kira and put him away for life (a death sentence would be far too ironic), but now he won't stop visiting his isolation cell every week for weeks on end, even when Light refuses to talk.

Summary
When Light finally crawled into bed at midnight, an hour behind his usual schedule (oh, god, he hated when things were behind his usual schedule), he was royally pissed the fuck off.
First of all, he had a fucking fifteen minute shower before L banged on the bathroom door to ask him for the hairdryer. And then banged on the bathroom door again to ask when he could come in to brush his teeth and if Light was naked, both questions Light dearly wanted to say no to but clearly could not.
Second of all, L was terrible at keeping his belongings all to himself. Not in the nice, traditional way of oh, I’ll share this with you, but oh, I’ll dump my mess all on your side, which was exactly what he did and now L’s shirts were scattered on the floor around Light’s bed, vaguely resembling some sort of demon exorcism ritual, except with shirts instead of candles.
And the last reason of all, Light could not fucking sleep.
----
Alternatively, a road trip, starring Light and L. You can imagine how well that would go.
