“Kote.”
Cody is looking up into the visor, he realizes. The Mandalorian is tall, and his chest is mere inches away from Cody’s own. It is so still, so at ease with the proximity. The confidence makes Cody want to look away first. There is a tap to his arm. His eyes drop to see gloved fingers knocking gently against the plastoid. He looks up to see that, somehow, the Mandalorian has softened.
“The name of a sunrise,” they say. “Glory be, Kote.”
“Keep your glory,” Cody says outside of himself. “I’ll take the sunrise.”
(Obi-Wan fakes his death and Cody works through every stage of grief. He eventually decides that he's going to fuck his way out of the depression pit and finds himself falling in love with this handsome Mandalorian who he just keeps meeting.)

"Wait, I’m sorry, Satine, did you—did you steal two million clones?”
“‘Steal’, Obi-Wan? You can’t steal free-willed people." Satine laughs. "No, my dear. Kal sent me the access codes for every landing pad, door, and defense network the Kaminoans had, and we shut it all down. I don’t think even their automatic toilets were working by the time we walked through their front doors. After that, well. We had a nice chat with the clones, and we killed every single Kaminoan that tried to stop any of us from walking back out.”
Or: Satine steals some clones, steals a Jedi, and saves the universe. This is the way.

"The… party, sir?"
Cody had that sinking feeling again.
"Oh right!" Skywalker said, and then leapt up onto a crate to address the gathered men. "Alright troopers, consider yourselves on leave for the next 30 hour rotation!" he shouted, to cheers from the men. "Now," at that, he dramatically ripped his tunics open. Rex made a choking noise next to Cody’s ear.
"LETS FUCKING PARTY!"
They're all going to die, Cody thought.

Summary
With an indolent air, Luke rests his elbows on the railing, leaning forward to better take in the action.
Below the Mandalorian is already in motion, beskar a glinting contrast to black walls and floors. Luke’s eyes trail him as he moves, bitter and gluttonous. Watching as Din takes stock of the concrete half-walls, helmet tilting upward to survey the turrets above. Exploring terrain before the simulation is initiated, his professionalism unaffected by the tension that still lingers beneath armor.
Compartmentalization is a skill Luke learned involuntarily; a way to cope with the horror that was once his daily existence. Din, by contrast, embodies the very practice of it. That rigid separation between self and other.
The Mandalorian’s inner world is so vast, Luke could get lost in it.
