Anya’s eyes widen. “Huh?”
“I don’t know, honestly,” Daisuke shrugs. “But whenever I had trouble sleeping, well- just having someone else in the room with me or at least having someone on the phone helped me sleep. Maybe it could help with your case?”
Anya has insomnia. Constant paranoia preventing her from getting a good night’s sleep. Daisuke, relating to the feeling, knows just how to help.

Summary
She didn’t feel like the canary in the coal mine, as much as she wishes she were. The canary was useful, at least, and in a sick sort of way it was loved. She felt a little bit more like the last miner that they would have left behind— forgotten, invisible. They would find her bones when the dirt crumbled to dust. Anya was okay with that.

Lumine doesn’t bother to check who her assailant is, only sweeps her skirt up and draws her dagger, Electro already crackling at her fingertips. She brings the blade up with one swift movement and levels it at the man’s throat.
Behind his mask, the stranger’s dark eyes are unimpressed. “Disappointing, Traveler,” he says, and Lumine groans and drops her dagger back to her side. “I really thought the legendary hero would have better situational awareness than that.”
Lumine sneaks into a masquerade party to steal documents, armed with a mask and a dagger strapped to her thigh. As it turns out, the Wanderer has similar plans for the evening.

He hadn't realized she was making a scarf. Maybe because the lumpy, misshapen thing in Lumine’s hands does not look like a scarf. In fact, it doesn’t look like much of anything.
Lumine makes Scaramouche a scarf—and he realizes that she may be brilliant, beautiful, and a hero in multiple nations, but she is absolutely horrible at knitting.

“Good thing I’m not human, then,” she says. “And I’m not quite that easy to kill."
Lumine isn’t overly concerned with the fresh gash on her arm.
The Wanderer, on the other hand, is freaking out.
