Summary
Jaskier finds himself trapped between the world of the living and the dead, with no memories of how it happened. He has no choice but to follow his Witcher guide to Kaer Morhen, the keep of the Lord of the Dead, where Jaskier must remain until either his soul returns to his body, or he passes on.
At first, being confined to Kaer Morhen is the worst fate Jaskier can imagine, but he soon learns the Underworld, and its god, are nothing like the tales paint them. The longer he remains, the more he begins to wonder if staying would be so terrible after all.

Beautiful world building. Once again, it had me on the edge of my seat and eager to know what happened nexts. Twists I didn’t see coming. I loved the characterization and how painfully sweet everything and everyone was. The wisps were adorable and Roach was, as usual, the best girl

Summary

I love the Roche/Iorveth sprinkled throughout. This had me on tenterhooks the entire time I was reading it. I actually had to pause for a moment and take a deep breath after he won the tourney when he was going to request Julian’s hand. I’m so happy everything turned out well. This was so beautifully done. The world building and the story. Mwah

I’ve never particularly liked Fate and Fae stuff, but this was kind of cool. I liked the characterization and limited cast. The emphasis and focus on the fae elements was interesting instead of overwhelming since they just picked a few things to focus on
