She peeked at the monitors expecting her colleagues to be in the exact same positions. But no. There were two other people hovering in the lobby. Dressed in all black. Faces covered. They headed to the door.
Oh hell to the no.
Why was it that trouble always wandered in within a half hour of closing time? Were they about to get robbed? It had to be a fucking joke. But then she halted. What if they were really getting robbed? Then she should probably stay hidden and call the cops. She looked at the monitors again. The two people dressed in black were already inside. She groaned. And then a weird silver glint caught her eyes. It was almost like… But it couldn’t be… Could it? She bolted out of the lunchroom.

Summary
You have barely scratched the surface of adulthood and yet you are already worn.
You have an unusual ability-you can see the supernatural. You're not alone as there are others who share the same ability. Sanctum Nocturnis— the abbey you were raised since the age of fourteen. There you were raised to be a hunter of supernatural creatures who passed through the veil without a summoning. You grew to know your peers well- your brothers and sisters in the hunt.
After the fall of your hunter sister you were sent off to a sistering abbey. Here they conducted rituals and special masses that seemed to keep the veil strong around their area. What was even more peculiar to you was that one of the leading Clergy members— Papa Emeritus III— had summoned a pack of ghouls to participate in said rituals.
While they were on tour it was your job to protect the abbey they considered home- without the band there the veil would thin. It was your job to dispose of whatever forced it's way through. Though during the time they were not on tour it was odd to say the least...

Summary
Xinyi Corvi was one of the many humans re-formed by the Phoenix. The question of 'why' folks were being reformed was on almost everyone's minds but answers were slim to be had. Other questions lingered as well as people struggled to pull their memories from the void. For Xinyi their question felt more like a longing-- as if they'd lost something terrible-- but the question or 'what' or 'who' seemed impossible to answer.
