Summary
Shane pats Parker’s shoulder, such a genuine gesture that Ilya wonders where he’s going with this. “Do a favor for me?” He leans in a little closer, physically blocking Parker from seeing Ilya.
“What?”
Shane’s smile fades away. His voice is stern, final when he answers. “Get back to your team, and step the fuck away from my husband?”
He doesn't bother to mince his words. Not tonight, with Ilya being as exhausted as he is, and not with Ilya being uncomfortable. He rarely gets to see him this outwardly protective. He expected Shane to come over, grab his hand and lead him away from the booth with some random excuse. But this—this is Shane losing his patience for all of those manners. His only concern is Ilya.
—a collection of moments where Shane takes care of Ilya during a depressive episode.

Summary
Buck leaned forward, elbows on his knees. “Eddie,” he muttered, and Eddie was smiling like this was all very amusing. “Are you telling me you trained until you could bench my weight just in case you needed to pick me up one day?”
“Not needed,” Eddie said, leaning closer. “In case I wanted to. Which I did. Do. So—do you want me to carry you to the shower, Buck?”
—
In which Buck struggles to take a shower with the press of chronic pain, and Eddie has an accessible bathroom, and Buck is too embarrassed to admit it makes his life easier, so he lies about a broken shower.

Summary
Buck is tired.
He’s tired driving home.
He’s tired dropping his keys when he tries to put them on the door with half-closed eyes.
He’s tired finally walking in, putting his bag away, and taking his shoes off.
And he’s tired following Eddie’s call letting him know he’s in the kitchen, even though it’s past midnight and Buck was preparing himself to just drop into the couch and not think about anything until the morning.
So he can’t really be blamed here.
Because Eddie is glancing at him over his shoulder, a lazy smile on his face, telling Buck about how he figured that since he had texted it had been a crazy shift, he wouldn’t have had the time to eat at the station so he is just finishing dinner for him, he should just sit down and wait before turning back to the pan he has on the fire.
So Buck just crosses the kitchen, wrapping his arms around Eddie’s middle, pressing himself against his back, tucking his face against his neck before he can talk himself out of it.
Because apparently, he’s too tired to pretend he’s not in love with Eddie.

Summary
Leaning toward the mirror, [Buck] shoots himself a wide, sleepy smile just as the bathroom door creaks open. He flinches back, one hand gripping the edge of the sink to keep himself upright while the other flies up to catch the door.
It’s just Eddie, and Buck opens his mouth to say hey, it’s ok, go back to bed, but the words die on his tongue as he spots the fear in Eddie’s eyes. It’s quick, there and gone before Buck can really react, replaced by relief that Buck barely registers before Eddie is slotting himself against Buck’s chest and tucking his face under Buck’s chin.
OR
Buck has a weird dream, Eddie has a nightmare, and for some reason this helps them figure it out.

Summary
“I did something stupid,” Eddie says, as soon as the door opens.
Hen blinks at him, leaning heavily on the door frame. “Hello to you too,” she says drily.
“Sorry, hi Hen. I did something stupid and I needed to talk to someone. I brought coffee.” He sticks out the to go cup like a peace offering. She eyes him warily before taking it and stepping back to let him inside. He makes a beeline for the couch and sits. Hen follows at a more sedate pace, sitting down across from him.
It’s not unusual, per se, for Eddie to go to her to talk. It’s just that he usually goes to someone else, but that someone else is not an option right now.
“Alright, spill,” she says once she’s comfortable. Eddie hesitates, knowing once he opens his mouth it’s real. He jiggles his leg up and down as Hen waits patiently.
“I slept with Buck,” he blurts out.
--
Or, Buck thinks he hooked up with a stranger, Eddie knows he hooked up with Buck. They both handle it poorly.
