Summary
Saparata counts down the seconds as he lay in the snow, unmoving. His body was ice-cold and numb, until he finally gave out and accepted his impending death.
However, Fluixon isn’t quite ready to let go of his not-so friend just yet. After bringing Saparata back to the base, Saparata wakes up only to realize he can’t remember anything.
…And naturally, in that situation, the only thing he could do was latch on to the first man he lays sight on–Fluixon.

“You’re…”
“Fluixon. Just call me Flux.”
“Were we friends?” Saparata asks, his confused stare digging into Flux’s bones. “I’m..getting a feeling, that we were...."
Flux pauses, then smiles. “Oh, absolutely.”
Saparata didn’t need to know that they haven’t been friends since Fluixon betrayed him.
