Summary
While the occasional anxious night was common for Tim, it wasn’t like him to be this worried. The entirety of patrol, there had been a brewing fear in Tim’s head along with constantly worsening images. Bernard with a knife through his hand, Bernard slamming the door as he leaves the apartment, Bernard screaming Tim's name as he bleeds out.
His surroundings blur as Tim distractedly searched the next warehouse. His hand slips on the grapple and for a heart pounding moment, he hangs from the end of a rooftop. Tim needs to focus if he doesn't want to die.
OR
An average patrol ends up having severe aftereffects on Tim, reaching a breaking point when he gets kidnapped.

Through the flurry of confetti and champagne, Oscar could see Logan sticking around with a watery smile on his face. He shut his eyes against the spray of champagne and blinked them open to find Logan gone. His eyes found Lando instead with his arms by his side. They exchanged a brief smile before Oscar went back to the celebrations. Oscar will find Logan later. He didn't know that "later" meant too late.

Summary

Jingyi is willing to bear the solitude to do what he thinks is best for his friend, but Sizhui has other ideas.

狐假虎威: the fox assumes the tiger's power
When the Sacrifice Summon ritual goes wrong, Mo Xuanyu assumes his chance at revenge and freedom is gone. However, he still has bound Wei Wuxian's ghost to him, and together they make a plan: Mo Xuanyu will pretend to be fully possessed by the Yiling Laozu, they'll get rid of the Mo family, and then Mo Xuanyu will be miraculously "cured" and excused of all wrongdoing when a cultivator tries to exorcise him. What could go wrong?
Steps one and two go fine. Step three gets tricky when the cultivator who shows up is Hanguang-jun, who seems very uninterested in any exorcisms and very interested in "Wei Wuxian." It becomes even more complicated when Mo Xuanyu realizes he's stumbled into the middle of a star-crossed romance: and worst of all, that he's falling too.

Summary
He wonders how he’s going to feel if he gets his memories back and Wormtail gets slammed back into his head. He’s probably not going to just forget how he felt about the world this past week (though he supposes he doesn’t know that for sure). When Peter becomes Wormtail again, is he still going to hate him? Will that mean that he’s going to hate himself? And is he still going to keep seeing the world through his own eyes, or will it go back to looking the way it did to Wormtail?
It doesn’t matter, Peter decides, not yet. For now, Wormtail is gone, and Peter is the one who makes all the decisions. He doesn’t want to be like Wormtail, pining over James and hating the woman who got in his way. He wants to be the person he knows he can be—the person who isn't all fucked up by his baggage.
He is pretty sure that the only reason Wormtail was so awful is the baggage he carried around. According to Remus and Sirius, befriending James was the first time Wormtail ever had protection from that kind of cruelty—even if, as they admitted sheepishly, it was only because the Marauders were the ones doing the bullying.
(Or: It's 1981, and Peter wakes up in St. Mungo's with no memory of who he is.)

Summary
There’s not really a point in owning a car, especially with the cost of insurance. With the threat of student debt looming overhead like a cloud, Bernard can’t afford to buy a car without help, and there’s no way he’ll ever ask Tim.
So Bernard doesn’t really drive. He’s happy to let his weirdly specific driving skills get swept under the rug, because the thing he has with Tim still feels delicate and new, and he doesn’t want to ruin it by bringing up that his uncle was in a gang and hey, he just happened to teach Bernard how to drive. Bernard wants to avoid any kind of conversation around crime in Gotham, actually. Especially after what happened in high school.
It’s not like he’s ever going to need to drive a getaway car, anyway. As far as Bernard is concerned, it’ll never come up.
Bernard learned to drive from his henchman uncle. The last place he expects to use this skill is at a dinner with his boyfriend's family.
