Summary
Okay. Sokka is definitely zoning out in the middle of a business meeting. Sue him. It’s not that he doesn’t care about the upcoming anniversary livestream they are currently planning per se, but more like there are only so many ways you can go over repeated questions such as ”what color should the balloons be?” and ”at what point should the candles be lit?” before you stop paying attention.
OR
Sokka and Zuko make music, kiss, fake-date, and play minecraft, not necessarily in that order. All while being famous idols.

As someone with 0 interest in k-pop (for a few different reasons), this was surprisingly intriguing! Very happy I read it because it was absolutely hilarious, I think the author captures fandoms extremely well and mange to mix these characters into this scenario pretty smoothly in a way I didn’t expect. Worthwhile read if you’re looking for some lighthearted fun with some nice depth to it (and are ready to excuse some OOC).

Summary
[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]
Or:
An injury leaves Sokka with amnesia. His last memory is of the failed invasion, of leaving his father behind in enemy territory on the Day of Black Sun. Of hopelessness. Rage.
But then he wakes up, and the war is over. Suddenly, he must come to terms with the fact that years have passed, and that he's somehow the Southern Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation. He is also supposedly friends with banished-Prince-turned-Fire-Lord Zuko, of all people. Close friends.

aang works for the local radio station and sometimes he gets sokka to help him do those fake segments where someone calls and dumps their drama on the radio host. just for shits and giggles (and listeners)it’s usually these wild tall tales about cheating or pregnancies or something but sokka forgot he was doing it one day until the last minute so he had to think quickly and what started out as “i have this roommate who drives me crazy” turns into “and that’s when i realized i’ve been in love with him for months” and after they record it aang is like “so…….that was very detailed….that fake roommate reminded me of zuko” and sokka won’t make eye contact with him and is like “yeah we definitely just recorded the realization of my true feelings in live time”

At least the kid had some survival instincts.

Zuko will never admit it, but being carried feels pretty nice. The lifeguard sets him down and eyes him warily.
“Are you really all by yourself?” he asks in a worried tone. “No friends in town you can call to check on you?”
“No,” Zuko confirms. Tears are forming again with alarming speed; his foot throbs painfully with every passing second.
“What kind of burrito do you want?”
“You don’t have to —“ Zuko repeats.

It seems like such a stupid thing, to be afraid of.
Zuko is the Firelord. He is in charge of a nation. He has fought in wars. He has survived horrible injury and abuse and come out the other side, maybe not undamaged but alive and healing.
And he has never had sex before.
Or: Sokka balks at the Firenation's terrible views on sex, and dicks his boyfriend down exactly the way he deserves.

Summary
“Will…” Sokka trails off before clearly steeling himself. “Will your dad be mad? Like, if we get a bad mark?”
Zuko freezes, noticeably so. From hearing about Sokka’s dad and how understanding he can be, Zuko’s not too sure how to play this. He could be honest that, yes, his dad will be furious to see a B, but that will undoubtedly upset Sokka.
“I just don’t want to disappoint him,” Zuko tries. “He’s done a lot for me and I want to prove this school wasn’t a mistake.”
Sokka nods, expression bare. “That’s tough, dude. I’m sure he’ll be proud no matter what, though. You’ve really been applying yourself.”
Zuko smiles lightly, pushing away memories of heat against his cheek. “Yeah, hopefully he will be.”
OR
When Ozai discovers Zuko is gay, he sends him to a boarding school, one meant for children of politicians and soldiers, not business moguls. Despite his rocky place in this new school, with distance from Ozai, Zuko grows and realizes just how much he needs to hide what happens during his trips home. Sokka sees more of this than Zuko wants.
