“Upstairs in my bed. I don’t need to sleep tonight, and she’s human. I thought she might not be, at first…”
He trailed off, embarrassed by his suspicions. Aziraphale didn’t seem to notice. “She’s more than human.”
Crowley looked at him. “I thought I felt a flicker—this is going to sound mad, but I thought she performed those miracles, or whatever they were, in the park. It certainly wasn’t the archangel twins, and it wasn’t me. But she’s not an angel.” It went without saying that she wasn’t a demon.
Aziraphale’s face was doing something complicated. Trying to decide what to reveal, he guessed. He tried to keep any annoyance from his expression and was relieved when the angel decided on the truth. “She’s the Daughter of God, Crowley.”
Crowley’s mind blanked. Whatever he had suspected, his thoughts had never gone near this.

Summary
After the job at the mill ends in death and disaster, Lucy is left alone with no place to go when her whole town turns on her. But when the investigating DEPRAC officer, Inspector Barnes, secures her a place with a small, independent agency in London, her life quickly becomes unrecognizable. She just wants some sense of balance and stability, but at Lockwood and Co, that might never be the case.
It doesn't help that her boss is so damn gorgeous.
