Summary
That was when she turned the corner and her eyes landed on a diner. Its ‘Open 24 hours’ sign was still glowing softly against the dark sky.
Convenient, she thought, arching an eyebrow. A truly good cup of coffee might help her write, too.

Summary
Just a slow burn Bartender AU
Carol Sturka is a sad (possibly pathetic), usually drunk, grumpy 53 year old author. She spends 4-7 days a week hanging out at the local lesbian bar ‘The Hunnycomb’. Where she flirts, drinks and crushes hard… on the Bartender.
Zosia Wydra is that bartender. A ex model that is all smiles, hopelessly in love with Carol, and absolutely terrified of loosing a friendship. To make matters worse, she promised her best friend (Koumba) that she’d bring Carol as her date, but problem is… they aren’t together… yet.
Can they get their act together and finally go after what they want? Or will Carol’s insecurities from her past get in her way? Will Zosia finally takes what she wants?
