While she was at it, why not send her dads a message? Like, hey, guess who got a new phone? She got down to the V, about to click on Vander's contact to tell him of her newest adventure, when an emoji caught her attention.
It was the only contact with an emoji in place of a name. More specifically, a thumbs down emoji.
Jinx had no clue who it was. Neither did she remember ever creating the contact. She opened up the log, but there wasn't even a message history between them. She was insanely curious over who they could be.
She opened up their contact, typing out a ‘Hey so I saved your number as 👎. Any idea what might have caused this??’ before clicking send.
The reply came a few minutes later.
👎: Guess who?
After finding a mysterious contact on her phone, Jinx finds herself roped into a never-ending guessing game, the stranger on the other end of the line both closer and farther than she could've ever expected.

Ekko clears his throat, deepening his voice and going for one of his most used lines.
“You’ll make for a nice meal, spawn..” Ekko growls, the voice changer making his voice gritty.
He expects her to run, yell, maybe cry.
What he doesn’t expect her to do is to look directly at him, a creepy smile making its way onto her face.
She looks absolutely ecstatic. Moreover, like a predator. Staring him down like she’s in charge.
“Found you…”

Ekko works at a Haunted House as a scare actor and gets chased back by a girl who keeps demanding he give her his... hook?

After Powder’s sudden disappearance three years ago, Ekko thought he’d never see her again. So when he finds himself inside one of the many addict-filled clubs in Zaun, time stops for him when he sees that glimpse of blue again, overshadowed by a toxic pink.

Summary
They've been friends practically their whole lives since they met at the same summer camp they've now returned to as counselors, and it doesn't really matter that no one will ever understand their undescribable bond but them.
