    Summary

Ash and Dawn hear through the grapevine that married people don't have to pay taxes. So in a haze of drunkenness and loneliness, they decide why not?

Platonic Ash/Dawn; all other pairings are romantic.

"So what was May saying earlier? That you don't have to pay taxes if you're married?" Dawn asked.

Ash shrugged. "Something like that. Dude, can you imagine? No taxes?"

Dawn saluted Ash with her wine glass. "That's what I'm talking about. Now I just need to find a wife."

"Yeah, lord knows that's never happening."

    "Excuse me!?"

"No, I meant for me!" Ash clarified. "Or finding anyone in general, honestly."

"Oh," Dawn said, deflated. "Well, same here, I feel like."

    ...

    "Wait. Let's do it, Ash."

    "Huh?"

"Yeah, seriously! You don't need to be in love to get married. We can just scam the system as besties!"

Ash stared at Dawn in wonder as he processed this idea. "Holy shit, that's brilliant. Dawn, you're a genius!"

    Summary

Once, she wrote, There was a girl without a soulmark.

Holly sat there for a while after writing that, staring out of the window.

How is this girl supposed to feel, you may ask? she wrote, because she was eleven, and the pressure on all sides to start liking boys was starting to feel like she was being suffocated. Because she was eleven and not good at writing but all she knew how to do was to lift the pen again and say—

    Fine. She felt fine.

OR: Poppy was born with a soulmark. Holly was not.

    Summary

They need a kitchen table. A proper couch, not just the(admittedly comfortable looking) chair Grendan has plopped in the middle of the living room. There’s only one guest room but York says he’d be fine with the couch if they got a pull-out, so that leaves it to her.

There’s a quilt at the edge of the bed. No side bathroom, but the Bi-Fi is decent- a full length mirror stands up against the wall parallel to the bed.

It isn’t her. But it could be.

    “Did York already sign?”

Or: A Rosé-centric fic about the Drawtective's time between seasons, since I feel like her character changed the most! Includes looks into her job, her new home, her friends, and most of all, her.
