Summary
When Dean finds Castiel standing on the wrong side of the bridge railing in the pouring rain, he takes him home. He finds himself caring for the man as a replacement for his younger brother, but when Cas gradually reveals what led him to contemplate suicide Dean realises that they can't ignore his past, and takes steps to help Cas heal and move on. As Dean becomes more aware of how our pasts can affect us, and as his old trauma resurfaces, he – albeit reluctantly - starts to open up to Cas about his own past. What starts out as a friendship born of loneliness and desperation grows into something more as they are drawn closer to each other over time, and slowly help each other to mend.

Summary
Castiel is years past healing from a mental breakdown that landed him in the hospital for several months, until a certain green-eyed heartbreaker somehow strolls back into his life and starts to bleed into every aspect of Cas' life that apparently wasn't as stable as he thought.
Dean's just looking for safety; relief from the oppressive weight of his depression when he stumbles across a kind and genuine college student who just doesn't want to feel lonely anymore.
Sam wants more than the complicated relationship he has with his brother, but after years of abuse and misunderstandings he's afraid that he and Dean will never be able to move past the things that tore them apart in the first place.
Gabe wasn't trying to make things difficult for Castiel, but unfortunately Cas has the worst taste in men and in his defense, Dean is nothing like what Gabe was picturing.Series

Summary
It's fair to say Dean has a lot on his plate. Lucifer is free, the apocalypse is nigh and he's apparently the golden boy to stop it all. But Dean's having a tough time concentrating on saving the world when he realises that he likes a certain platonic angel friend more than he had initially thought. And things get even more complicated when said angel tells him the impossible- that he had saw Dean's future self die.
