When you’re sick with complex medical issues, the challenge isn’t knowing when it’s going to fall apart: that part is inevitable. The challenge is knowing how long it’ll take to be put back together, held in place gently as you weather through the storm. Grace might not be willing to openly share when she falls apart from a complex migraine, but Jay’s pretty good at making sure she’s held through the worst of it.
