Summary
When Falcom made the early drafts for Sen no Kiseki, Class VII members were supposed to be officer cadets attending an officer school. Those plans were then discarded resulting in the Thors Military Academy we all know and love.
This story is a reimagining of the Cold Steel Saga. A hypothetical scenario in which Falcom doesn't abandon their original plan. It includes an aged up Class VII and a more immediate plot compared to canon. There will also be more military themes, more politics, more character introspection and a breakdown of Kiseki orbal arts and martial arts.
In other words: plot first, character development and worldbuilding second, romance third.

In which Class VII, the Ironbloods, and various others encounter their very own recluse cube.
Spoilers up to the end of CSIV, but I'm still trying to keep myself spoiler-free for anything after that--please don't spoil my fun by 'correcting' me in the comments. A 'well, actually,' is still a spoiler. For those who have played ahead, consider this a Pratchettian alternative trouser leg of time, designed primarily so I can have lots of fun making everyone banter their way through their trauma.
Updates weekly, characters and tags will be updated as the story goes on. All Moon and Star doors can be read as standalones, but also form part of the overall jigsaw puzzle.

In this timeline, Duvalie is a member of Class VII, but her loyalties aren't quite what they seem; Emma, the last surviving member of her clan, grapples with her role in the absence of familial guidance; and Alisa, tired of feeling helpless, intends to put a stop to the Reinford Group's enabling of Erebonian imperialism - by any means necessary.
Meanwhile, the other 3 Class VII students - Rean, Jusis, and Machias - are hanging on for dear life.
