A now adult Kit has carved out a new life for himself. He lives comfortably in a small town, away from it all. His past life of crime is behind him, and he’s cut ties with anyone that might try to drag him back down. Then an annoying, pirate-talkin’, Tails lookalike rolls into town just to irritate him (read: be friendly and flirt with him). It might just bring back old habits.

He was prepared to do whatever it took to make things right with Nine and that meant bringing him to Green Hill—even if he had to drag Nine kicking and screaming. Alternatively: If Sonic had a nickel for every time he adopted a traumatized, twin-tailed fox he’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
