The kids peeked out from behind her legs. A seven year old Akemi, wearing pink glasses and a headband with cat ears. And Mio, age four, holding a stuffed rabbit by the ear and sizing Reo up like he was a new exhibit at the zoo.
“Hi,” Reo said, crouching down. “I’m Reo. I’ll be here with you this week. We’re gonna have fun.”
