“It was never to come to this.” she trailed off “It was crafted to preserve the family, to protect it when all else failed…it listens to blood.To regret.”
“Its just a key”Draco felt a pull in his chest as she pressed it into his palm . The silver warmed instantly.
“Its more than that..It well- it responds to ruin.Regret.”
“Then why did father never-”
“You know your father regrets little..”
Draco's breath hitched, as the burning in his arm suddenly returned as if the scarred mark was protesting.
