Summary
When trying to figure out why the scarab wouldn’t work for him, Ted Kord is told it’s because of Booster Gold. Not only that, but it’s because they’re connected via the multiverse and essentially soulmates. After this, Ted comes to a lot of realizations regarding himself and how he feels about his best friend. After some motivation, he decides he’s going to confess. Things don’t play out as expected (when do they ever for these two knuckleheads?).

One of the most in depth fics I’ve read, the series is amazing and I think captures the characters really well. I always find myself coming to reread a lot of the parts during some downtime I have.
