Summary
“You got the shot didn’t you?” Joonas asks him immediately. He means the shot omega are supposed to receive before they present. It calms the heat, minimizes the otherwise fatal bleeding to a level where breeding isn’t necessary to stop it.
And Joel shakes his head. He hasn’t received care because he avoided the doctor’s office like the plague, afraid of them prodding and probing him only to give him a diagnosis he didn’t want to hear.
“Joel?” Porko prompts him again. He must’ve not felt the movement.
“No, no shot,” Joel forces himself to say, and Porko’s embrace tightens.Joel presents as omega while recording with the band at the cottage.

Okay, they aren't going to work together. Joel thinks it ends right then and there. In March 2016.
So Joel does the obvious thing, decides Alex is a rude bastard, an asshole. He makes no secret out of it. Even weeks later his bandmates have to listen to Joel rant about it. He shoves his phone into their faces, alexmattsonmusic’s instagram profile pulled up for emphasis while he’s pointing out that Alex Mattson had the audacity to post yet another photo on instagram while ignoring his DMs.
One day, during another one of Joel’s tirades, Joonas realizes Alex Mattson got under Joel’s skin. He should have moved on by now, normally has at this point, yet he hasn’t been able to. Alex Mattson is special and Joonas thinks he knows why but he also has an inkling that Joel hasn’t figured it out yet.

One second Olli is climbing the chain-wire fence, is right on top of it, and the next he’s falling the rest of the way, ankles bending all wrong when he hits the ground, and an excruciating pain lights up his right hand. -

During the summer tour Olli realizes that something between them has changed. He’s happy being on stage, but then he watches Joonas flirt with strangers and kiss Niko and something settles heavy in his stomach.
He tries to will it away, but it just won’t disappear.
So when Niko says, “Come here, you Blond,” he forces a laugh past his lips, laughs about the absurdity of the situation. Joonas is his best friend and Olli likes him so much and Joonas is kissing someone else. -
