If there was one thing that Peter hated more than his Spanish homework, it was chem labs. He liked chemistry and found most of the topics interesting, but everyone was assigned partners at the beginning of the year and Peter was lucky enough to be partnered with Flash.
Every time they had to do a lab together Flash always insisted on taking the lead, which usually backfired. The last lab they had to do required the use of a bunsen burner, and Flash’s butterfingers and inability to find the correct knob to turn off the gas nearly resulted in the school catching on fire.
Or
Peter is partnered with Flash when doing a make-up chemistry lab when Peter learns that spiders and other certain chemicals do not make a great pair.

“Will Byers?”
Will glances around, as if there is another Will Byers in their vicinity. He manages a small smile. “Yeah, it’s- uh. It’s me.”
Mike rushes forward, and all he can think is holy shit, Will is alive, as he’s throwing his arms around the other boy and tugging him in for a crushing hug. It isn’t until Will is secure, nestled–maybe a bit stiffly–in his arms, that Mike starts crying.
“I thought you were dead,” Mike murmurs, muffled by Will’s jacket. He sniffles. “I thought- we- they told us you were dead.”
Or, Will was never found in S1, but survives in the Upside Down until 1987 due to his powers and connection with Vecna. Cue Mike, an ill-timed trip to the Upside Down, and a lot of feelings.

SHIELD is in shambles, the Avengers Initiative has gone to shit. There's nobody to stop them. Their hit list isn't changing, either. The Avengers, or former Avengers, are still at the top. And you? You're the easiest to find.”
Tony rolled his eyes. “Yeah, no shit. I can handle myself. Besides, what are you going to do? I wouldn't trust a single one of your agents, and I very much doubt you are going to stick around here yourself.”
Fury nodded. “True. I have things I need to do, as do you. You can't afford to be focusing on weeding out Hydra.” Tony didn't trust that agreeable tone. “But, I have someone who can.”
There it was.
He pulled the folder onto his knee, and cracked it open. A picture was paperclipped to the front, and a name sat at the top in dark, neat letters.
