Summary
“Yes, Liam,” Diegesis enthused. “That’s exactly it.” He leaned forward, looking hungry in a way that made the part of Lee with terrible taste in partners want to tilt his head up, offer his neck, and find out if that smile was as sharp as it looked.
Hell, for as long as he’d been in Diegesis’ study, wrapped in a blanket of his creation and wreathed with the scent of incense burned in his honor… Lee probably tasted a bit like cinnamon.
And, watching the way Diegesis' eyes and smile widened, that thought alone had probably been a dangerous choice.
A bit of playing in the space for that additional seven hours until noon - plus the five extra. And let's not forget the fifty-nine seconds.

Summary
Astarion watches with amused interest, with a slight indulgent smile, as Tav takes up her position against the wall. He’s already mentally running through which line would be best when he ever so graciously helps her back to her feet. 'Come, darling, this is hardly the place for a quick nap,' should do nicely.
And then Abdirak strikes the first blow.
in which Abdirak strikes Tav's back...and Astarion's fancy.

Summary
Their friends fear Mina's thirst. The first time she drank from him, she looked at him afterwards to see if he'd judged her, eyes brimming with tears and shame. He kissed her, held her, whispered to her that he'd packed the beautiful scarf she made for him and gave to him the first Christmas they were engaged. The marks in his neck and the scarf he covers them with are both a sign of love.
And their friends - their kind, well-meaning friends - are wrong.
It’s not Mina's thirst they should fear. It’s his own, if he's to change with her...in which Mina shows some vampiric abilities, and Jonathan fears not his beloved, but being left behind.

Summary
“Well, she does like a bit of slang,” Quincey muses, and drops his voice into a lazy, rich drawl. “I reckon I might’ve dropped a few phrases purely on account of makin’ the little lady laugh.” He watches with interest as John’s lips quirk up at his put-on purring accent. Seems Lucy’s not the only one who likes a bit of slang.
John and Quincey console each other after being turned down...and find other comforts
