"Come on, are you really going to use... that?" Venti asks, hating the way his voice trembles.
Before him, sitting on a luxurious armchair, is his lover, gazing down at him in amusement while he kneels before her, his hands bound tightly with a satin red ribbon. Her willowy body is clad in a black cropped, leather bustier and an equally black, satin skirt that reached the middle of her calves. The contrast of the dark color against her porcelain white skin can't be any more irresistible. And there, right beside her bare, perfectly manicured feet, is a pair of bright red, sharp stilettos.
Lumine gives him an amused look. "I thought you liked these." she says as she slowly starts to wear her stilettos.
"When you use them to walk on the ground. Not all over me." he retorts.

“I shouldn’t,” she whispered harshly to herself. Her shoulders sagged and she pressed the heels of her palms into her eyes until stars burst in flashes of light. “But I want to.”
Lumine has been in love with Venti for what feels like forever. If only she could feel his love just once to know what it is like.

Summary
Lumine in all words was an ordinary woman; her journalism career was slowly rising, and she had finally built the life she had always dreamed of. The only part that wasn't ordinary was, well... That she and her twin, Aether, possess the ability to see what no human should be capable of comprehending. Mythical creatures or beings that hold a power that most would deem silly fantasy.
Venti was certainly one of the best cupids there had ever been. His skill with the bow and arrow was unmatched, not to mention his knack for setting up the most perfect scenarios for getting the best pairings to lock eyes with each other after being shot by his arrow!
Though nothing could have prepared them for when Lumine gets shot by Venti's arrow and locks eyes with not the man she was being set up with, but rather the very same cupid who shot her!
