He’s sporting a bright red letterman jacket, Alpha Phi Delta running across his chest, and something about the fact that he’s in a frat is so insulting that Scaramouche takes a second to register anything else about him. The fact that he’s tall (people really shouldn’t be this tall), has messy ginger hair and a bright smile on his face, and smells so offensively of some overly masculine cologne that Scaramouche feels like he needs to hold his breath in.
Everything about him screams person I would never-ever-ever get along with. A frat boy who’s taking a philosophy elective when he can’t even write essays for shit. A frat boy who comes in with a loud “hey, sorry, I’m late!” and drops his sports bag on the table, almost knocking Scaramouche’s coffee over, and extends a hand towards him.or, the one where Scaramouche has no choice but to tutor Childe who’s failing his philosophy elective miserably, and he gets so much more than what he bargained for.

Akechi gapes at him—his mouth drops open, his brows knit all the way together.
“You haven’t?”
“We’re teenagers. That’s normal.” Akira frowns, trying not to think about this handsome, worldly guy that Akechi wants to be with. It’s fine, he thinks, it was just a half-formed crush. More of an idea, really. “I get it, though. I wish there was a way to practice.”
The hallway feels smaller and smaller as each word leaves his mouth. A way to practice. They look at each other for a long moment, communicating through their heavy gaze. The temperature rises, and Akira knows that they’re both having the same thought.
(Or: The boys strike a deal. Also, Akechi's 'handsome, worldly crush' may not be as far away as Akira thinks he is.)
