"What are you doing here?!" Steve Harrington demands, brandishing an ice cream scoop like it's a weapon.
In a sailor suit.
Goofy hat, tall socks. A bow around his neck that Eddie has a brief flash of what it might be like to yank on. Just a little.
Or: Somebody's gotta deliver the ice cream to Scoops Ahoy, and that somebody is Eddie.

Summary
Steve has nightmares
More than he can count, really. He’s had so many he feels as if they’ve replaced his actual dreams, when he falls asleep he doesn’t expect to have a dream of nonsense or joy - he expects a nightmare.
He expects screaming and the flickering of lights, expects blood and the taste of iron in his mouth. He expects to see all his friends dead, to see a Demagorgon charging for him only to wake up with shaking breaths to realize he’s not really gonna die.

Eddie held his gaze for a long moment, his incredulous smile never wavering.
“...Alright! Fine!” He gestured towards the bathroom. “I’m going to change there, though. You have to buy me dinner to see me undress.”
