It was a discovery that had changed both everything, and nothing at all.

Summary
The losses of Fidelio and Rella just one day apart hit Basilio harder than anything he’s endured. For better or worse, he isn’t the only one.
Junah’s attention snapped to him with wide eyes that relaxed almost instantly. “Basilio! You startled me.”
“Well, you nearly gave me a bloody heart attack,” he said, taking a seat next to her and mirroring her pose. “Thought you were ‘bout to do somethin’ drastic.”
She winced. “I’m sorry. I hadn’t meant to wake anyone, or make you worry. I just…needed some air. Can’t seem to fall asleep.”
“‘S alright. Me neither.” Understatement of the century, that, he thought, but he had a feeling her reasons weren’t unlike his own.

Summary
To celebrate Toshiro moving into a new apartment, Eri proposes they play a game of Truth or Dare, and what starts out as simple bit of fun leads to them both revealing secrets they’ve held onto since their school days.
“So it’s normal rules, but if you don’t want to answer or do the dare, then you gotta drink!” she explained. “But if you do go through with it, then the other person has to drink!”
He eyed the can in his hand with suspicion. “I see. But why the beer? I thought this game was usually a non-alcoholic affair.”
She shrugged. “Dunno, just seemed like it could be fun,” she said. “We never got to do these kinds of things when we were younger, so why not make up for lost time?”
“We shouldn’t have been drinking in high school anyway.”
“And that’s exactly why we never got to!”
“Well excuse me for not wanting to break the law,” he grumbled.
She gave him a bright grin. “You’re excused.”
